Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Nailed It at Jökulsárlón
My friends also need to have their teeth brushed :-)
On a warm sunny day in August 2018
From this angle it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere.
From the entrance to the harbour at Höfn. This is where the boats come in from catching our fish.
The view across Hornafjörður bay surrounding our hometown of Höfn. What a view!
The old pier at Ósland, inside the town of Höfn. In the distance are the buildings from WW2, built by the British military at a military airfield. Later it became the domestic airfield for Höfn. Passengers and cargo had to be transported between the town and the airfield across the bay by boat.
This is how the magnificent Jökulsárlón can look at a given day.
Having fish and chips in the snow at Jökulsárlón is a great experience.
These fellas like to have some chips when its cold outside.
Fish doesn't get any fresher than this :-) Caught at the coast outside Jökulsárlón this same day. I (Karl) am the one standing :-)
Welcome to my photo album.
Here you will
get to see photos from Nailed It fish and chips and from various places in Iceland.
Jökulsárlón and the surrounding area will most likely be the main focus of this album.
